Children’s Author, Entrepreneur Lori Lite Returns to ABC’s Reality Series ‘Shark Tank’: Lite’s Books Now Carried in Borders Stores Nationwide

January 5, 2010 Atlanta, GA. Children’s author and entrepreneur Lori Lite will return to the ABC reality series “Shark Tank” Friday, Jan. 8, marking her first appearance on the show since August 2009, when “Shark” real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran offered to  invest in Lite’s up-and-coming company Stress Free Kids, which produces books and CDs that help to reduce stress and anxiety in children. Since that episode aired, Borders stores nationwide now carry Lite’s books including “Angry Octopus,” which provides positive techniques for helping kids manage stress and “Affirmation Weaver,” which contains positive messages for helping kids build positive self esteem.

“Borders is the first retail chain to give me nationwide placement in their stores. I love that Borders believes in me and my books, which truly do help children live stress-free lives.”

Lite recently entertained and relaxed a crowd of children attending a Long Beach, Calif. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, along with other celebrities and industry VIPS, got together Wednesday evening at the W Hotel in Westwood to wrap donated toys and children’s products from Nickelodeon, Stress Free Kids, The Art of Conversation, Propel RC, Capturing Couture, Kidorable and Entertainment Earth.

Lori Lite of Stress Free was motivated to donate books and CDs to this event when Lori realized that 2Family.org was commited to  helping children rise above their challenging livess and believe in themselves. “Affirmation Weaver was a perfect fit for this organization.
