We haven’t done this for so long now that the kids are older but I still remember the very first time we flew a kite when they were little. They were mesmerized by it. It really does reduce stress and it was so much fun. Maybe I can talk them into doing it one more time.
Reading this I have realised that I haven’t been spending enough quality time with my daughter lately. I am making a point of doing something together, just the 2 of us, for at least a hour tomorrow.
We have enormous power and input into the person our children grow up to be. Spending quality time together and providing positive praise is not negotiable. I have to sort out my priorities
